Many people claimed that they have tiredness on their lower back after continuous holding and feeding their babies. We suggest you to have a nice hot bath to relax your muscle and enhance blood circulation in order to reduce the muscle cramp. Massaging Shenshu (BL-23), a commonly used acupoints located at the lower back on both sides, also helps to relieve the pain. To find “Shenshu”, place your hands on your waist (your index fingers pointing to belly button) while putting your thumbs on your back towards the spine. If it is a serious pain that you can’t manage with previous methods by yourselves, you’d better seek for registered professional acupuncturist for further treatments.
